The quintet founded in 2008 has since shared the stage with bands such as Peter Pan Speed Rock, Buggirl, DeWolff, Anti-Flag and
the Heideroosjes.

"Wild Bill" & his A.S.S. hit the studio in the summer of 2009 to record their debut EP, titled "Go Alabama!", The songs
were positively received by Dutch leading music magazines such as Aardschok, LiveXS and 3voor12 and got national airplay on KinkFM.
According to some reviews the EP is packed with "High Octane Rock 'n Roll".Imagine huge American V8 engines, beer mugs and trailer trash
pinups. During their gigs ejaculating guitars, thundering drums and prominent basslines come together with the razorsharp voice of
"Wild Bill" himself. With an energetic sound and live performance "Wild Bill" & his Alabama Speed Steamers rocks the stage in hot rod style. Upcoming summer they will be playing the “Roadkill-festival” in Belgium amongst bands such as Karma to Burn  and Valient Thorr.
The band is also selected for POPRONDE 2010.
